Huawei has announced it will launch the next flagship in Paris at the end of March next year. Huawei P40 and P40 Pro will come with Android 10 -EMUI 10 runs on a phone based on Huawei Mobile Services – there is no Google on board. This came directly from Richard Yu, head of the Huawei Consumer Division.
He promises an unprecedented design, as well as advances in camera image quality, chipset performance, and battery life. This is usually in the spotlight of leading companies, even if the presentation shouldn’t be surprising. We hope that the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro will be shipped with the Kirin 990 5G chipset – Kirin 1020 will come with Mate 40.
Mobile phones are sold through the usual channels – suppliers and stores. The only thing different from the P30 generation is the lack of Google Apps, which was replaced by the Huawei alternative.
Mate 30 Pro and Huawei cellular services have moved to Europe with limited capacity. Huawei now has several months to lure application developers to ensure that high-quality applications are available at the company’s alternative application store.
As for HarmonyOS, Huawei’s internal operating system is still not available for mobile phones. Huawei has recently reaffirmed its commitment to use Android to power its smartphones, but plans to synchronize it with smarter devices (smart TVs, watches, speakers, etc.).
